Lauren Ossolinski » About the Artist

A Nashville native, Lauren Ossolinski earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from Southern Methodist University in 1990.   After sabbatical from her art endeavors to pursue advanced studies in motherhood, she returned to painting. Through workshops with a number of Tennessee’s leading plein air artists and membership in a local plein air organization, The Chestnut Group, she has discovered a love of painting outdoors. Subjects in the landscape, particularly in Tennessee and summers in Cape Cod, inspire her.
